Aston Villa manager and former Gunners player Remi Garde has spoken with Arsene Wenger about the availability of Mathieu Debuchy as well as other Gunners players.
Speaking in his news conference on Thursday morning, Garde confirmed to the media that he had spoken to Wenger about the French right-back, as well as other players who may be available to him.

I had a conversation with Arsene Wenger a few days about some of the players and Mathieu Debuchy was one of the players.
Debuchy has been linked with Villa along with West Bromwich Albion in recent weeks. Meanwhile, Roma are also said to be interested, as they look to solidify their options in the UEFA Champions League run-in during the coming weeks.

The Frenchman has played a bit-part role in the Gunners’ successes this campaign, playing just twice in the Premier League in the absence of Hector Bellerin, although the return of the Spaniard has seen Debuchy’s role once again become back-up to the 20-year-old.
With the European Championship coming up next summer in France, Debuchy will be keen to get some minutes ahead of selection for the tournament.
