Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund have no desire or intention to sell star forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, although club insiders say that a bid of around £60million could be enough to tempt them into letting their star man leave.

As reported by Simon Jones of the Daily Mail, Arsene Wenger is a long-time admirer of the Gabonese striker and reports have been circulating that the Gunners made a bid in excess of £40million for him earlier in the week.

Sources at Dortmund refused to comment on such speculation, although Jones reports that one club insider believes that a bid of £60million could be enough to get the Germans to sell.

Aubameyang has been in scintillating form for the Black and Yellows this season, managing to score 27 goals in as many games in all competitions, 18 of which have come in just 17 league fixtures.

Arsenal have a great chance to win the Premier League this year, and the addition of a goalscorer with the quality of the 26-year-old could be enough to see them over the line.
