Arsenal youth duo sign new long-term contracts

Tolaji Bola has signed his first professional contract with Arsenal whilst Tafari Moore has agreed to an extension on his deal.

Bola, no relation to fellow academy member Marc, is a 17-year-old England youth international centre back.

Moore is a regular for the under-21’s at right back and represented England under-17’s at the European Championships in 2014.

At 18-years-old, Moore has gained praise for his performances in Steve Gatting’s under-21’s as first choice.

Born in London and known for his energetic style, the Englishman also features for the UEFA Youth side which progressed to face Anderlecht next month.

As does Bola, who has impressed for the under-18’s in the previous two seasons.

He has represented England at under-16 level and will now look to push on into the under-21’s alongside Moore.

To do so, he will need to impress and should either Julio Pleguezuelo or Krystian Bielik get injured, then he could realistically have that chance this season.
