Southampton name price for Wanyama
Southampton have named a price for Arsenal target, Victor Wanyama. According to reports in the Mirror, it’s believed that the Gunners have been quoted over £20m for the defensive midfielder.
The former-Celtic man has been linked with a move to the Emirates for quite some time, but the Saints are not willing to allow Wanyama to leave the club during the January window despite naming a price.
Wanyama has been a mainstay in Southampton’s side, since signing for the club in 2013 for £12.5 million. He has gone on to make 73 appearances while also clocking up 24 yellow cards and two red cards with the latter both coming during the current campaign.
The defensive midfielder was a key part in Ronald Koeman’s side as they dismantled Arsene Wenger’s side a few weeks back and now Wenger has been given a price to bring the Kenyan international to the Premier League leaders.

Southampton hope the steep quotation will put Arsenal off Wanyama, whose contract runs out in 2017.
