Mancini says Arsenal target Brozovic is going nowhere

Inter Milan manager Roberto Mancini has spoken out on a potential move for the Italian club’s Croatian starlet Marcelo Brozovic. The midfielder has long been linked with moves out of the San Siro, with Arsenal being just one of many European clubs being rumoured to make a move for the youngster.

Manager Mancini spoke curtly on the links regarding Brozovic, praising the player in the process.

Brozovic is integrating very well and has incredible quality. We have no intention of selling him.

The Croatian playmaker was linked to Arsenal back before he signed with Inter, and he is now reported to be worth an £18m price tag, a hefty sum for a relatively unproven 23-year-old. Nonetheless, with all the injuries to the Gunners’ midfield players, reinforcements are seemingly needed.

Considering it looks increasingly unlikely that Brozovic will not be sold by the Italian giants, it looks as though Arsenal may only sign one midfielder this January, with reports that Mohamed Elneny missed training to sort out his long-awaited move from FC Basel to the north London team.
