Wojciech Szczesny is on a season-long loan at Roma but has been told he still has a future at Arsenal.
Roma are keen on bringing in a permanent ‘keeper this summer, with Internacional shot-stopper Alisson on the verge of signing, but it is understood that Szczesny is wanted back by Arsenal to deputise for Petr Cech next season.

Since the signing of Cech, the 33-year-old has established himself as a key member of the starting XI, much to the frustration of David Ospina. The Colombian is looking for a move away to gain more first team football.
Szczesny lost his place last season to Ospina due to a few calamitous goals conceded as well as some unfortunate off-field antics. Arsenal hoped the loan spell would help develop the young Polish stopper’s mentality on the field as well as off it.

Cech has recently become the record holder for most clean sheets in the Premier League and there’s nobody better to learn from for Szczesny if he does decide to come back to the club.
