Jamie Carragher fears that if Arsenal weren’t to win the Premier League this season, it may be another 10 years before they get their hands on the trophy.
The Gunners are perfectly placed to do the job and lift the trophy in May, entering 2016 in first place.
But the former Liverpool defender and now Sky Sports pundit believes it’s now or never for Arsene Wenger to manage a team to become champions – the first time since 2004 – with previous title protagonists toiling with various issues.

If Arsenal don’t win it this year, I think it could be another 10 years before they win it again.
Chelsea won’t accept the situation they’re in, they’ll throw a lot of money at it in the summer, they’ll get another manager. I think Man City may do the same even if they win it.
I think Manchester United, talking about Louis van Gaal, looking at the squad – is it good enough? So those three teams, they’ve all faltered.
Carragher is not wrong where the familiar favourites to win the league are concerned. Manchester City kept their first clean sheet without Vincent Kompany in 18 games on Tuesday night, and will be without their captain for the next three weeks.
Chelsea are struggling to make top four, let alone win the league. Manchester United have not won a game in six.

With it being very unlikely Wenger is manager of Arsenal for another 10 years, Carragher believes the reward may be worth the risk of spending in January for the Arsenal boss.
This is Arsenal’s big chance. They have to take it.
Whether that means spending again in January, this is an opportunity they can’t let slip.
