Arsenal midfielder Gedion Zelalem is to remain with Rangers until the end of the season, according to manager Mark Warburton.
The 18-year-old has made 14 appearances for the Ibrox side this campaign and has made a thoroughly impressive impression on the club’s faithful, proving himself to be useful from midfield.
Speaking on Zelalem, Warburton confirmed that the player will continue to progress in Scotland until May at least.

Gedion is with us.
We talked to them as part of an on-going process. It’s about us creating an environment here where clubs of that stature trust us with their players.
That’s important medically, nutritionally, training wise, (in terms of) game-time, experience and that their players will go back to their clubs better individuals on and off the pitch.
Zelalem is tipped to become an Arsenal regular in the coming years and was heavily involved in the club’s pre-season games and tour of Singapore but wasn’t tipped to be ready for first-team football in the Premier League by Arsene Wenger.

The Frenchman also decided that in order to aid and progress the American youngster’s development as a competitive footballer, a loan move would be necessary – with Rangers fitting the bill.
Having featured in so many games already this season for the Glaswegian side, the loan move will certainly prove a helpful period for Zelalem’s development.
