Pep Guardiola has today been sensationally linked with the Arsenal managerial job.
German newspaper Bild are reporting the news via their Bayern Munich journalist, Christian Falk, who tweeted this afternoon that he believes the Gunners are the club Guardiola is interested in managing next.
The high placed source in Germany says in the tweet (below) that Wenger has called the Spaniard, presumably to sound him out for when the Frenchman departs.

The former Barcelona manager has already confirmed he will not be extending his stay with the German champions beyond this season and Munich have announced a replacement in Carlo Ancelotti.
That has sparked mounting speculation as to where the 44-year-old will be cropping up next.
Both Manchester clubs are rumoured to be interested in Guardiola, while Arsenal have always been on the edge of the rumours.
Would this rumour to be true – and it comes from a very reliable paper in Germany – it would suggest Guardiola will be taking a sabbatical or Wenger may be prepared to step down at the end of the season if he was to win the league. It would be the first time he has broken a contract should he do so.
