Five things we learned – Arsenal 2-1 Manchester City

Arsenal took a huge step towards proving their title credentials on Monday night at the Emirates Stadium as they beat fellow title contenders Manchester City 2-1.

Theo Walcott put the Gunners 1-0 up with a beautiful finish from outside box before Mesut Özil put Olivier Giroud through on goal, who then slotted the ball home, stretching the home side’s lead to 2-0 before half time.

The visitors got a goal back with ten minutes to play, but was too little too late for the Blues as Arsenal hung on for 3 of the most important points they’ve collected all season.
