Arsenal are reportedly lining up a January move for Stade de Reims full-back and Algeria international, Aissa Mandi.
It is believed that Arsene Wenger is an admirer of Mandi’s talents and over the last few months, has sent scouts out to see the Algerian right-back in action for his club.
Wenger may be looking to strengthen his defensive options in January with the Premier League title well within his side’s sights, with a move for Mandi potentially being in the offing.

The Reims captain has made 138 appearances for the French club since his arrival in 2009, cementing his place in the side as well as the Algeria national team.
Versatility will be a key factor in Wenger’s thinking if he chooses to make a move for the 24-year-old, with the knowledge of Mandi’s ability to play primarily at right-back, but also in the middle influencing the Gunner’s boss’ decision.
Arsenal do however, have plenty of right-sided options in their side through Hector Bellerin and the out of favour Mathieu Debuchy, although there is no doubt over the fact that adding Mandi to their already strong squad would only benefit them.
