Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil is set to be subject of interest from former employers and Spanish giants, Real Madrid.
The German midfielder played for the Spaniards for three seasons, signing for Madrid after an impressive World Cup campaign where he caught the eyes of the world.

It was recently revealed by manager Arsene Wenger that he previously attempted to sign Ozil, who decided, at the time, the move to Spain was the one he favoured, although the German would famously sign for the Gunners later in his career for a whopping £42.4m.
The Spanish side replaced Ozil with James Rodriguez, who has impressed since signing for the Bernabeu side but claims of a bust-up with Rafael Benitez mean that he could seek a move away, although it has yet to be confirmed whether the reports are true.

Spanish outlet Don Balon report that Ozil’s scintillating form of 2015 has caught the eyes of Madrid, who will look to replace the Colombian with Arsenal’s no.11, should he decide to leave.
