Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina is on the verge of agreeing a transfer away from north London, with Besiktas the reported likely destination.
The Colombian goalkeeper was made first-choice early last season after a number of on and off the pitch incidents involving Wojciech Szczesny, but the summer acquisition of Petr Cech saw Ospina fall down the pecking order, while the Pole moved on loan to Roma in order to gain regular first-team experience.
With Ospina looking for regular football, he may have to look for a move away to get that, with the impressive Cech unlikely to give up his place in the side any time soon and it appears Besiktas are the side interested in bringing him in.
The Turkish giants will look to loan Ospina initially, before making the move permanent if he impresses during his spell with the club.
The ex-Nice ‘keeper has yet to make a single Premier League appearance this season.
