Long-term Arsenal target Adrien Rabiot has reportedly submitted a loan request for January so that he can receive more playing time than is currently on offer at PSG.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has been an admirer of the French youngster for several seasons now and the north London club have been linked with a move for the 20-year-old on more than one occasion.
Rabiot claims that he is frustrated at his lack of playing time as he feels that he puts enough effort in during training to merit more time on the pitch and so hopes that his loan request should be granted without too much fuss.

I’ve asked the president for a loan move in January if my time on the field is insufficient. It’s something that he can’t refuse me – I know he likes me very much.
When you train all week, you want to be on the field. Sometimes it’s not possible and it’s frustrating.
Paris is my city. It’s great to play here. If I could impose myself here, it would be brilliant. I would be ready to play my whole career at PSG if I was a starter. I would see things differently, that’s for sure.
With the Gunners currently suffering from an injury crisis, Wenger may well see that a move for Rabiot is sensible, even if only on loan in order to add more depth to his side and add the extra quality that is needed for his team to push for the Barclays Premier League title.
