Ramsey – We can create enough opportunities to beat Olympiacos

Ahead of Arsenal’s crucial UEFA Champions League tie against Olympiacos, Aaron Ramsey has admitted that he hopes to continue his fine form in the middle of the midfield.

Arsene Wenger’s men need to beat the Greeks by at least a two-goal margin in order to progress to the knockout stages of Europe’s biggest competition.

If they fail to beat Olympiacos, it will be the first time that they have failed to make it past the group stage since the 1999/2000 season.

Ramsey insists that he and his team mates are aware of the task at hand and that they have the quality to get the job done.

We know what we have to do and we believe we have enough quality to create the opportunities and score.

With Santi Cazorla and Francis Coquelin absent for the trip to Greece, Saturday’s match winner hopes he can emulate the duo’s brilliance in midfield.

Injuries like that happen in football.

I wish Santi a speedy recovery, and Francis as well, we have been hit hard by injuries this season but it gives players the opportunities to take.

Olympiacos go into the crunch match in high hopes after they shocked the Emirates crowd back in September as they toppled the Gunners 3-2.

Elsewhere in Group F, Bayern Munich who already have one-foot in the knockout stages travel to Dinamo Zagreb who are currently bottom of the group.

Olympiacos are sitting pretty at the top of the Greek league as they remain unbeaten in league and 13 points ahead of nearest challengers AEK Athens.

With the Greek’s in such good form, the Welshman acknowledges the firepower of their side if they push too high up at the wrong times.

We have to choose the right times to do that but we will always create opportunities.
