Arsene Wenger and Louis van Gaal are set to battle for 18-year-old Abdelhak Nouri, who has been touted as the next star of Dutch football.
Nouri, 18, is already seen as one of the highest valued youngsters in Dutch football and is viewed as one of the most promising talents in all of Europe.
The attacking midfielder is a tricky player who dances past players with his flair and speed. Louis van Gaal has taken an interest in the youngster as the Manchester United boss has close links with Ajax, managing the Dutch club for six years between 1991-1997.
Both English clubs will face some tough opposition to acquire Nouri, with French sides Paris Saint-Germain and Marseille reportedly showing interest in the 18-year-old.
In a bid to keep the forward in the ranks of Ajax, manager Frank de Boer may promote him to the first team to convince him to commit his future at the club.
