Premier League teams collectively spent nearly £130m in agents’ fees over the past 12 months, according to data released by the Premier League. That represents roughly a £15m increase over the 2014 period.
During the past 11 months, the Gunners accounted for approximately £11m in agents’ fees, which placed them as the fifth-highest spenders on such fees, behind Chelsea (by about £33,000), Manchester City, Manchester United, and top spenders Liverpool.

Agent fees paid out by clubs come from two main sources: transfer fees and annual salaries. According to Business of Soccer, agents fees on both transfers and annual salaries usually fall within the 5-10% range.
As Arsenal tend to spend right around the fourth highest of all Premier League clubs in wages, it seems logical that they would spend in that range on agent fees. The lack of high-value transfers during the summer likely accounts for the discrepancy between wage bill and agents’ fees handed out.
