Arsenal are to rival Paris Saint-Germain for the services of Newcastle United midfielder Moussa Sissoko in January, according to the Newcastle Chronicle.
The 26-year-old is regularly linked with a move away from St. James’ Park and reports suggest that a move in the winter transfer window could be on the cards.

The French international joined the Magpies in 2013 and has been a standout player, with bursts from midfield to join in attacks a common feature of his play.
He has scored 11 goals in all competitions since arriving from Toulouse but speculation has surrounded him for the last year now. That in part has been fueled by the player himself, with Sissoko not afraid to hide his desire to play UEFA Champions League football.
Both PSG and Arsenal can offer that, along with the chance to compete for honours domestically.

Newcastle admitted to rejecting offers for Sissoko over the summer and would demand a fee no less than £15 million.
Arsenal have midfielder Jack Wilshere out injured and are likely to offload Mikel Arteta, Mathieu Flamini and Tomas Rosicky come the summer, meaning midfield reinforcements will be required.
Signing Sissoko in January will not only help with a title tilt this season, but mean he can integrate into the team for when those three said to be on the way out, depart.
