Jack Wilshere has claimed that his rehabilitation is going well but maturely made the statement that he isn’t going to rush his return and risk the chance of further injury.
The 23-year-old England international has not featured thus far for Arsene Wenger’s side this season due to an ankle injury which was picked up at the end of pre-season.
Any period of sustained injury is a frustrating time for a player but Wilshere admitted to Arsenal Player that he remains positive he will return and be able to play an important role in Arsenal’s season.
It’s going well. I’m working as hard as I can to try to come back. I know what it takes because unfortunately I’ve been injured a few times in my career and I know what it takes to come back.
I’m not going to rush it. I’ll make sure my body’s right and at the moment I’m feeling good.
Jack Wilshere also spoke about how he has gained confidence from the likes of Danny Welbeck and Tomas Rosicky, who are also struggling with injury at this moment in time and therefore they can relate to each others frustrations.

We all know it’s difficult and just being around other people helps. At the moment it’s me Danny and Tomas because we’re the only ones with long-term injuries.
Just being around other people, speaking to them and having a bit of banter with them helps aswell.
Jack Wilshere’s injury is no doubt a major blow to the Arsenal midfield, who are short on numbers but it appears as though the England man is confident he will come back stronger.
