Roma goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has spoken about his future, which he says could lie in either England or Italy.
The Polish international is currently in Italy on loan from Arsenal, where he has been since 2006. The Pole has made 132 appearances for the Gunners to date but the summer signing of Petr Cech and form of David Ospina forced the ‘keeper to leave the club in order to gain first team football.
Szczesny has not been in amazing form for Roma this season and has played just eight of their matches, including just five Serie A fixtures. The 25-year-old has spoken before about how he still wants to have a future at Arsenal and it is well-known that he has a strong bond with the club.

However, he has said that he is now settled in Rome and the club would like to keep him but that it was a very hard decision to leave the Gunners and was painful to walk out the door.
My future will be decided after the European Championships.
I love Arsenal, but I’m happy at Roma. I know that Roma want me, but I don’t see why Arsenal would not want me also.
Leaving Arsenal was painful and it was a difficult decision to make. I can’t imagine myself with another English team.
