Arsene Wenger has stated this week that he has never been involved in drugging players, therefore giving his men an advantage over their opponents.
Wenger spoke to L’Equipe and the Frenchman explained that he and never been involved in any doping or drug use with his own players, but he is aware of some occasions where he can’t say the same for the team’s he has faced before.
I have never injected my players to make them better.

Arsenal played Dinamo Zagreb away from home in the first match day of the UEFA Champions League and lost 2-1. Soon after, it was announced that a Dinamo player had failed a drugs test.
It was reportedly Arijan Ademi who failed the drug test, and could face a ban if his ‘B’ sample is proved positive, which is still currently being investigated.

The FA have asked the 66-year-old Arsenal manager to provide any further information he may have, as he’s always supported the idea of making further advances in drug testing.
Arsene explained his view on doping and his experiences in his personal career on the matter.
I try to be faithful to the values that I find important in life and to transmit them to others.
In 30 years of my coaching career, I never got one of my players injected to be more efficient.
The FA have stated that they rarely see positive tests for performance-enhancing drugs.
The FA, in conjunction with United Kingdom Anti-Doping (Ukad), operates one of the most comprehensive anti-doping testing programmes in the world.
We have exceptionally few cases of positive tests for performance-enhancing drugs, which reflects the findings from drug-testing in football worldwide.
All positive cases for Wada-prohibited substances are published by Ukad and the FA.
