Arsenal could move for Newcastle forward

Arsenal are being linked with a January move for Newcastle striker Ayoze Perez. The Spanish player is also being linked as a target for Manchester United as per Fichajes.

The north London side have had to deal with a number of injuries recently and if they continue to blight the club over the winter months, Arsene Wenger may be forced into the January transfer market.

With Olivier Giroud being the only fit striker at the club currently, as both Theo Walcott and Danny Welbeck are injured, striking reinforcements are looking a necessity. The 22-year-old Spaniard has been in fine form for the club.

Tottenham Hotspur are also reportedly interested in the player and there could be a three-way battle in the January transfer window for the player. At only 22-years of age, the player could flourish at Arsenal if Wenger does indeed decide to enter the race to sign him.
