# Bayern midfielder Vidal ‘jealous’ of Alexis

It has recently [emerged](https://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/474946/Arsenal-News-Alexis-Sanchez-Arturo-Vidal-Chile-Feud-International-Duty-News-Gossip-Latest) that Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez shares a ‘jealous’ relationship with Bayern Munich midfielder and fellow Chile international, Arturo Vidal.

The source of the feud between the Gunners forward and Vidal is reported to be the jealousy that the Bayern man has over Alexis and how much publicity the Arsenal man receives for his performances in England. The Bayern midfielder is said to be livid at how much national press Alexis has been getting in recent weeks, claiming that the media like to pick out his compatriot’s strong points and ignore his weaknesses.

The feud between the two Chile superstars was clearly strong before Arsenal went to the Allianz in the UEFA Champions League last week to face Vidal’s Bayern Munich, who ran out as 5-1 winners, as the feisty midfielder took to Instagram to mock Alexis.

> [Jajajaja Que poco se habla de fútbol en Chile cuando gana el King Arturo!!!?????](https://instagram.com/p/9tAI3ZFuV7/)

Alexis, however, responded in a more calm and possibly mature manner, without rising to Vidal’s provocative comments and merely looking to the future for him and his Arsenal side, as he also took to Instagram to comment on his side’s loss.

> [En la vida se gana y se pierde y etc … Pero la vida sigue sin esperarte y te haces mayor … Pero la gente positiva es la que SE CAE, SE LEVANTA, SE SACUDE, SE CURA LOS RASPONES , LE SONRÍE A LA VIDA Y DICE: ¡¡ AHÍ VOY DE NUEVO !! – “In life you win and you lose etc….but life still goes on and you do your best…But the positive person is the one who falls, gets up, shakes it off, patches themselves up and smiles at life and says ‘Here I go again’.](https://instagram.com/p/9vwUkTC6Uh/)

The resilient and determined attitude that Alexis Sanchez has shown over the last couple of seasons at Arsenal has been a joy to watch for many, as his hard work and endeavour has been rewarded on the pitch, with the Chilean forward netting seven goals in 17 appearances for the Gunners.

Despite the arguments and disagreements that Vidal and Alexis may share and have to put up with, their differences must be put to one side as the two join forces for their native Chile in the hope of beating Colombia and Uruguay later on this week.
