Arsenal could be set to move for two German international’s in the January transfer window, according to SportBild in Germany.
The two players being linked with a move to north London are Bayer Leverkusen’s highly rated winger Karim Bellarabi and Schalke’s Benedikt Howedes – both sought after German internationals.
With the Leverkusen man impressing over the last two seasons at his side and at only 25-years-old, it’s unlikely that he will be allowed to leave unless a hefty price is offered for his services.

Howedes could be on the move for as little as £10m, with the 27-year-old reportedly looking for a new challenge, having been at the club since 2007 and amassing over 200 appearances.
Signing the likes of Bellarabi would offer direct competition to Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Aaron Ramsey and Joel Campbell on the right-hand side of midfield – and Arsene Wenger could consider the move seriously considering the club’s injury crisis.

The Gunners have four senior central defenders at the club, so whether a move for previously-linked Howedes is on the cards or not remains questionable.
