After a joyful October for the Gunners, Arsene Wenger has been rewarded with the Barclays Premier League Manager of the Month award.
Arsenal won four games out of a possible four during the 10th month of the year, conceding just one goal in that time.
The north London side started the month off emphatically, winning at the Emirates Stadium against Louis van Gaal’s Manchester United in an enthralling game which ended 3-0 to the home side, thanks to an Alexis Sanchez brace either side of Mesut Ozil’s neatly placed effort.

Wenger’s side then traveled to Vicarage Road, where they faced newly promoted Watford and again came away 3-0 winners after a stern effort from both side’s in which the first goal mattered most.
Arsenal then hosted Everton at the Emirates Stadium, a great day for Frenchman, with both Olivier Giroud and Laurent Koscielny getting on the scoresheet, as the game ended 2-1.

Arguably Arsenal’s most impressive half of the season thus far came at the Liberty Stadium, after a shocking first period saw the away side needing a shift in momentum and goals from Olivier Giroud, Laurent Koscielny and an impressive performance from Joel Campbell, who also got himself on the scoresheet saw the Gunners end October handsomely in the Premier League.
