Manchester United and PSG have both been linked with audacious moves for Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez.
Louis van Gaal is thought to have contacted Arsenal regarding a possible deal for the Chilean international hotshot, with the Dutchman telling Alexis he would be the ‘cornerstone’ of his Manchester United team.
The 26-year-old has been a revelation since joining the Gunners last year from Spanish giants Barcelona. He was sensational last season for Arsenal, scoring bundles of goals, all whilst entertaining the crowd with his work ethic and tricks.

He has already netted seven times this term, proving his first campaign in the Premier League was no fluke. This form has clearly impressed Louis van Gaal, who wants him to join up with him in Manchester.
It is thought that it would take a fee in the region of 70m Euros to prise the forward away from the Emirates – a steep price.
This would not be the first time a player has made such a switch, after Robin van Persie did the same under the Sir Alex Ferguson reign.
