Galatasaray have been linked with a move for Arsenal’s Costa Rican winger Joel Campbell.
The wide man has recently enjoyed a decent spell in the Arsenal line-up recently due to injuries to a number of Arsenal forwards. He scored a good goal in the 3-0 win over Swansea, sweeping it into the far corner on his stronger left foot.
However, he wasn’t at his best against Bayern Munich and Tottenham Hotspur. When Arsenal have all of their forwards back in contention again; Campbell will likely struggle to get anywhere near the first team.
This means that a move to Turkey could well be on the cards for Campbell, who would see significantly more game time, whilst playing alongside former Gunners teammate Lukas Podolski.
A move in January could be ideal for Campbell and Arsenal as Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain would be back in contention and forcing the Costa Rican back onto the bench, or even into the stands.
