Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is a wanted man, with French giants Paris Saint-Germain keen on bringing him to the Parc des Princes, according to French media outlet L’equipe.
It’s suggested that the Ligue one Champions will make a move for Wenger should the team fail to beat Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League Tuesday night.
PSG are unbeaten in the league so far this season, and are already ten points clear at the top of the table. However, despite an abundance of success domestically, manager Laurent Blanc’s future remains unclear, with the club worried that progress isn’t being made in Europe’s top competition.

The French club have failed to make it past the quarter-finals of the Champions League in the past three seasons, and with the financial power and calibre of players PSG have at their disposal, bosses at the club deem this not good enough any more.
Wenger’s position at Arsenal has come under question on numerous occasions, especially during the nine-year trophy drought and his lack of spending during that period. However, having been able to attract world-class players to the club in recent years, two consecutive FA Cup victories and a very realistic chance of winning the Premier League this season, the Gunners will be desperate to keep hold of the Frenchman.
Wenger’s current contract expires in the Summer of 2017, although the Daily Mirror reported last month that the clubs hierarchy are preparing a new contract to keep him at the club until 2019.
