Arsenal superstar Alexis Sanchez has been named the PFA Fans’ Player of the Month for October, after a fine month for the Chilean which saw his side win four games in a row.
Along the way, Alexis scored three fantastic goals in those four matches including two stunning efforts against Manchester United. The 26-year-old also impressed on international duty for his country, scoring another three including a strike against five-time World Cup winners Brazil.

Alexis beat off competition from Leicester City’s Jamie Vardy and West Ham United’s Dimitri Payet, who were also named on the three-man shortlist.
Thus far this season, Alexis has scored six goals in the Premier League and after a slow start to the campaign, looks to have continued the fine form he left off in his debut campaign for the Gunners.

Arsenal face Bayern Munich on Wednesday evening at the Allianz Arena and Alexis is set to be a key member if the travellers are to get anything from the game.
