The north London club appear to have a perfect balance to their side, and have looked impressive in recent weeks. With champions Chelsea seemingly out of the title race due to a shocking start to the season, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur unlikely to mount a serious challenge, and Manchester United underperforming more times than not, Mark Lawrenson believes Arsenal have a great chance to win the Premier League this season.
This is Arsenal’s best opportunity to win the league. They have so many attacking options and the league is so open.
No other club has taken more Premier League points than Arsenal throughout 2015, who, after an opening day defeat at home to West Ham United, have amounted 22 points from the following 10 games.
It’s always expected that, despite the beautiful football Arsenal can play and the performances they can produce, they’ll always let you down and fall at the final hurdle and Lawrenson echoed these exact thoughts. This unfortunate habit has already been evident this season, especially in the UEFA Champions League against the likes of Dinamo Zagreb and Olympiacos, however domestically they look much stronger.
The thing about Arsenal is that they will always let you down. We are all waiting for the result where they lose at a West Brom or Stoke.
Following two consecutive FA Cup wins, the Gunners should be full of confidence and will no doubt be looking to build on their success with the Premier League crown.
