Speaking in his news conference today, Tony Pulis told the media that Arsenal loanee Serge Gnabry is not ready for first team action yet.
The 20-year-old joined on a season-long deal from the Gunners but has made only two starts, both coming in the Capital One Cup.
Pulis says that Gnabry is not currently at the right level to be playing in the Premier League.
Serge has come here to play games, but he just hasn’t been for me, at the moment, at that level to play the games.

The West Brom manager said that Gnabry is a player with purely U21 experience and that there is a monumental gap between that level and Premier League football.
Does academy football really prepare players for league football? And we’re talking about Premier League football here. As a manager you pick a team that’s going to win a game of football. You pick your best team, you don’t leave people out because you don’t like them, because of this, that and the other.
Gnabry came on as a substitute in the 3-2 defeat at the hands of Chelsea and his promising performance excited many. However, he hasn’t been included in the matchday squad for the Baggies’ last three games.

The German has previously made 18 appearances for Arsenal in which he managed to score one goal and bagged himself a couple of assists.
He also has six caps for the Germany U21 side, but he is yet to convince Tony Pulis that he is ready for first-team action at West Brom.
