Arsenal left-back Nacho Monreal has hailed teammate Hector Bellerin for his impressive performances since coming into the team last season.
At only 19-years-old, the Spaniard was thrust into action by Arsene Wenger, after a number of injuries to the likes of Mathieu Debuchy and Calum Chambers, while Carl Jenkinson was out on loan. Since facing Borussia Dortmund and being taught a lesson in a difficult debut, the youngster has come on leaps and bounds, keeping the more experienced Debuchy out of the side and making the also inexperienced Chambers shift to centre back.

Having really impressed against Bayern Munich midweek and continuing that form against Everton on Saturday afternoon, his compatriot Nacho Monreal has claimed that Bellerin is a revelation while hailing his maturity for someone of only 20.
He is very young and is only 20-years-old and plays with incredible maturity on the pitch.
I think he is one of the best full backs and will be in the future as well. He has a very long career ahead of him and he has been showing his quality and it is a pleasure to play along side him.
Hector is simply a revelation this season and also last season as well. There are good times and there are bad times in a season. At the moment things are going very well and the whole team is working very well and we are in good form.
We are not conceding many goals but there are other times this season where we will concede more but we can’t worry about that. We have to give 100 per cent each game and we know we have top level players capable of scoring at any moment so when we keep a clean sheet we can always guarantee ourselves victory.

The Gunners went top of the table with a win over Everton on Saturday and face Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday evening in the Capital One Cup, an opportunity to rest a number of big names.
