The transfer window didn’t go as well as Arsenal fans had hoped it would in the summer. With the sole arrival of Petr Cech, fans and pundits were left disappointed as many felt another two or three players would have made Arsene Wenger’s side a real threat on all fronts this season.
The squad has been lucky with injuries so far this season but with the heavy Christmas fixture period fast looming that might change and Arsene may have to dip into the transfer market in January.
One of the names to have been continuously linked with a move to Arsenal is William Carvalho and he is close to agreeing a new deal with current club Sporting Lisbon, club president Bruno de Carvalho hinted to RTP Africa.

A player being linked with a January move is young Real Madrid starlet Isco. Spanish outlet Fichajes claim Arsenal are preparing a £33m bid in the upcoming transfer window. According to reports, he is top of Arsene Wenger’s wishlist and the fee is no problem for the north London side.
