# Bellerin – I showed I can help in attack

Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin has [admitted his pleasure at the performance](https://www.arsenal.com/news/news-archive/20151018/bellerin-going-forward-comes-naturally)he put in against Premier League newcomers Watford, where he picked up an impressive assist and helped his side to a solid clean sheet.

The Gunners put in an impressive second half performance which saw them take a 3-0 win away from Vicarage Road after an initial tough start to proceedings. The young Spaniard was able to help out in attacking positions and [believes that spending the early years of his career as a right-winger](https://www.arsenal.com/news/news-archive/20151018/bellerin-going-forward-comes-naturally) enables him to be as efficient in attack as he is defensively.

> *I think that Watford were very, very physical for the whole game and they were running out towards the end and we took profit from that.*

The physicality from the likes of Troy Deeney troubled the north London side, but Bellerin [told *Arsenal Player*](https://www.arsenal.com/news/news-archive/20151018/bellerin-going-forward-comes-naturally)that his side dealt with their opponents’ threat well.

> *They have very strong players up front and they are a handful especially players like Troy \[Deeney\] and I think we dealt with them and when we could play with the ball we did that.*

> *I have a lot of memories from when I was here. It was* short *but it was intense.*

> *I’m very happy for the win and I’m very happy to be back.*

Bellerin and Arsenal next come up against Bayern Munich midweek in the UEFA Champions League, where he will face one of the biggest tests of his short career thus far.
