Arsene Wenger has once again spoken out over comments made by Gary Neville in what is becoming a long-running feud between the pair.
The Arsenal manager hit back at claims made by the Sky Sports pundit that Arsenal don’t approach big games with the right mentality because they do not prepare properly.
This comes after earlier in the season Neville claimed Wenger was either “arrogant” or “naive” for not adapting his team to “change to impact on another team’s strengths”, the former Manchester United captain was again outspoken on the Gunners before the clash against his former side.

I may be wrong, but I sense that Arsenal players go into training on Friday morning thinking about how they’ll pass the ball, score with a bicycle kick, how much fun they are going to have.
Arsenal ran out eventual 3-0 winners, and Wenger has now branded Neville “ridiculous” in a staunch defence of himself and his backroom team.
We just turn up on a Saturday, just go out and play.
Honestly, I am 30 years in this job. I have a good tolerance level to sometimes listen to things that are really ridiculous. Honestly. I can do it.

The victory over United was significant in that Louis van Gaal’s team are tipped to challenge for the league themselves and went some way to quash the belief the Gunners can’t beat teams around them – like they did away to Manchester City last season.
Wenger was keen to point out at the AGM this week that a lot of work goes into how they equip themselves for matches and also developing players.
We are really advanced in the way we work and the way we prepare and the way we develop players.
I make everything possible to make sure I make the right decision for the club – it is not off the cuff.
