Yaya Sanogo could be set for an early return to Arsenal, with Ajax manager Frank de Boer reportedly ready to pull the plug on his loan deal with the Dutch side.

Dutch media outlet SoccerNews say that the young Frenchman is finding life in Amsterdam tough, with De Boer also mentioning in a news conference on Friday that it is disappointing for the player that he can’t compete with fellow attacker Arkadiusz Milik.
So far, Sanogo has only played 47 minutes of Eredivisie football in the form of three substitute appearances, while also playing twice in the UEFA Champions League.
This isn’t the first club where Sanogo has struggled for goals – last season’s loan spell at Premier League side Crystal Palace saw just the one goal, which came in the FA Cup.

Since joining Arsenal from Auxerre in 2014, Sanogo has scored just one competitive goal in the red and white of the Gunners, which came against Borussia Dortmund.
