Arsenal sensation Alexis Sanchez is being targeted by Real Madrid, as the Spanish giants plot a £37.3m move for the 26-year-old Chilean international.
Alexis has been in fine form since joining the Gunners, scoring 25 goals in his debut season and after a slow start to the 2015/16 campaign, he has shown his unbelievable ability by scoring six times in three games for Arsenal and bagging himself three goals for Chile in two games – including a well-placed finish against five-time world champions Brazil.

With Cristiano Ronaldo turning 31-years-old next February, Real Madrid President Florentino Perez has, according to Spanish magazine Don Balon, identified the Arsenal man as the long-term successor to the three-time Ballon d’Or winner.
It is unlikely that Alexis will be allowed to leave for such a relatively small fee, with Arsene Wenger and Arsenal no longer in a position where they need to sell their best players.

Arsenal are also preparing a new long-term contract for Alexis, a deal which will see him become the club’s highest earner.
