Arsenal target William Carvalho has claimed that he would love to play in the Premier League one day – specifically for the Gunners.
The Portuguese defensive midfielder has been linked with a move to north London on a number of occasions in the last 24 months and with the need for squad depth becoming constantly more and more important, a move for the 23-year-old could be on the cards.
It is reported that Arsene Wenger has been a long-term admirer of the Sporting Lisbon man, but his hefty transfer fee could be a stumbling block.
Speaking to Portuguese news outlet A Bola, the Arsenal target said that he has ‘always been fond of Arsenal’.

It is likely that Carvalho would cost in the region of £25-30m, meaning a move for him would be taken under serious consideration by Wenger and the rest of the Arsenal board.
