Ramsey – The aim of the game is to get three points

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has spoken ahead of his side’s crunch fixture against Bosnia and Herzegovina this evening – and has claimed that despite Wales needing just one point to qualify for next summer’s European Championship in 2016, he wants to gain all three points.

Wales have had a more than impressive qualifying campaign thus far which has seen them top their group and they go into this evening’s game undefeated. The qualifying stage has also seen their stock rise in the FIFA World Rankings to eighth, ahead of the likes of England, South American champions Chile and European giants Italy – while being placed just one ranking below World Cup record holders Brazil.

With his nation on the cusp of qualification, Arsenal man Aaron Ramsey wants to see his side qualify in style .

We never go into a game wanting to draw. Personally I always go into a game wanting to win. The aim of the team is to go there and give ourselves the opportunity to get all three points.

We’ve been tough to beat, and it won’t be easy for them, but hopefully we can wrap it up before the Andorra game. We’ve become a harder team to break down, and we have quality where we can go and score a goal.

Should Israel fail to win both of their final qualifying games, the Welsh will see themselves top Group B, ahead of the likes of Belgium, Israel and this evening’s opponents Bosnia and Herzegovina.
