Speaking in his Daily Mail column, ex-Arsenal player Martin Keown admitted that his former side’s performance on Sunday was too good to be true. When asked about the opening 20 minutes against Manchester United which saw Arsenal go 3-0 up, he said it was as good as he’s seen his Arsene Wenger’s men.
The first 20 minutes on Sunday was as good as I’ve ever seen Arsenal play. It was irresistible, they gave us everything we wanted, it was too good to be true. Suddenly, we weren’t kicking the TV – for the first time in 10 years!

Keown, who won 10 trophies during his playing time at Arsenal, admitted this doesn’t mean the season has already been turned around. Looking forward to the Watford match after the international break, he admitted his worries.
You don’t know which Arsenal is going to turn up.
Arsenal currently sit second in the league table after eight games, just two points behind leader Manchester City. Fans have been aggrieved by Arsenal’s European form after two straight losses means they’re sat bottom of their UEFA Champions League group. Keown was also cautious not to get carried away.

When you play like you do against Olympiacos in midweek then do that, you remain suspicious of the team.
Arsenal travel to Vicarage Road in their next Premier League game, where they will be looking for their third Premier League win on the bounce against newly-promoted Watford.
