Following Arsenal’s 3-0 win over Manchester United at the Emirates on Sunday afternoon, Spanish midfielder Santi Cazorla believes that the team’s belief was key to the victory.
Arsene Wenger’s side netted all three goals in under 20 minutes, with Alexis Sanchez finding the net twice and Mesut Ozil also getting one for himself.
Speaking after the game, Cazorla was keen to highlight that the win was ‘very important’ and is eager for the Arsenal camp to push on from this win.

The tricky Spanish midfielder then hailed Manchester United, but claimed that Arsenal’s mentality was what helped them to gain all three points.
They have very good players with Carrick, Mata and Rooney.
We need to play together and in the first half we did very well and this is vital for us. We needed to believe after the loss against Olympiacos. We needed to change the mentality and today the team was very compact and focused for the game against a big team.
This is the most important thing for the team.
After the international break, Wenger and his side will travel to Vicarage Road to come up against newly promoted Watford, before welcoming Bundesliga table-toppers and European giants Bayern Munich to the Emirates for their UEFA Champions League clash.
Arsenal will be looking to put their European defeat to Olympiacos behind them and prove that they can challenge with the world’s best football teams. After the Bayern clash, Arsenal will then travel to Goodison Park to go head-to-head with Roberto Martinez’s Everton.
