Five things we learned – Tottenham 1-2 Arsenal

It was the Gunners that drew first blood in the first North London Derby of the season, as they beat Tottenham 2-1 at White Hart Lane on Wednesday evening in the Capital One Cup.

Arsenal took the lead through an unlikely Flamini goal, who broke into the team for the 3rd round tie, in arguably Arsenal’s weaker side for the low key competition, before Spurs drew level after Calum Chambers’ second own goal of the season.

The winner came from probably the most unlikely source, a Mathieu Flamini volley from 20 yards out, which sealed the win and ensured north London kept its ‘Red’ reputation for now.

What five things can we take from the North London Derby victory?
