# Arsenal to announce £3m payment

Arsenal are set to announce the second payment of £3m to Stan Kroenke’s company, [according to Jeremy Wilson of *The Telegraph*](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/arsenal/11880958/Arsenal-news-Club-expected-to-announce-second-payment-of-3m-to-Stan-Kroenkes-company.html).

In the past year, Kroenke’s company, *Kroenke Sports and Entertainment* has provided both strategic and advisory services and the second payment announcement comes after being questioned at a previous shareholder meeting about the specific services provided to merit the large payment fee.

*Kroenke Sports and Entertainment*, or KSE, is a company owned by Arsenal’s majority shareholder and owns a number of sports teams, including baseball, ice hockey, football, and lacrosse.

With more and more money being pumped into the club, questions are expected to be raised about the lack of signings incoming to north London, after Arsene Wenger opted for just the single senior signing this summer, with Petr Cech being brought in for roughly £10m.

With the Premier League TV deal coming into fruition and Arsene keeping his supposedly huge transfer budget to one side for now, the Gunners will be expected to spend both this January and next summer.
