# Wenger – I haven’t decided who will play up front

Arsene Wenger has admitted that he has yet to make his mind up over which of his strikers will start in Saturday’s away clash with Chelsea. The Gunners started Olivier Giroud up top in the 2-1 defeat to Dinamo Zagreb in the UEFA Champions League this week but only scored their goal after Walcott was subbed on – and Giroud sent off.

Speaking at his regular pre-game [news conference](https://www.arsenal.com/news/news-archive/20150918/wenger-i-ll-make-late-call-on-striker), the Gunners boss admitted that he will have to leave the decision regarding his starting striker until the morning before the match.

> *At the moment I must say that is a decision I still have to make tomorrow morning.*
>
> *I try to use the best solution that gives us the most efficiency offensively.*

The London derby between Arsenal and Chelsea will be an important fixture for both sides this weekend and Arsene Wenger reiterated that Theo Walcott has immense talent and that he is pleased with his current scoring record.

> *Every game is different and that is why I don’t deny at all the quality of Walcott.*
>
> *I am very happy that he scored so many goals in so many starts. He shows as well that when he comes on, he can score as well, which he did in Zagreb.*

Arsenal fans will be hoping that their side will bounce back in this weekend’s fixture following their midweek loss to Dinamo Zagreb, and three points at Stamford Bridge would surely fill them with confidence.
