# Cech – All I care about is beating Chelsea on Saturday

Petr Cech has admitted that playing against former side Chelsea for the first time in the Premier League will be a surreal experience for him but is focused on claiming all three points at Stamford Bridge.

Speaking to the [*Arsenal Weekly* podcast](https://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/464711/Petr-Cech-Chelsea-Arsenal-Premier-League), the Arsenal shot-stopper admitted that playing against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge will be a completely different experience for him but said that his time spent in west London has given him the knowledge to know all the secrets that the stadium can throw at him.

> *I have never played at Stamford Bridge in the visiting team so it will be a new experience for me.*

> *I go to a familiar place but most important for me will be to win the game. That’s the way it goes.*

> *In a way it is nice that I spent so much time there. That I know every corner of the stadium and the space, so for me there will be no surprises.*

> *Obviously it will be new to play against Chelsea but when you start playing the game the only concern you have is ‘can I play my best game and can we win?*

The 33-year-old moved to Arsenal from Chelsea in the summer for a fee around £10.9m and has already won the FA Community Shield. During his time with Chelsea the Czech Republic international won four Premier League titles, four FA Cups, the UEFA Europa League and the UEFA Champions League and has been acclaimed as one of the greatest shot-stoppers in the history of the Barclays Premier League.
