Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere is set to miss another month of football – after failing to recover from the hairline fracture he suffered to his leg prior to the start of the season.
Arsene Wenger confirmed in Thursday’s news conference that the England international had suffered a setback to his recovery, but could not confirm how bad it would be.
Sam Cunningham, reporting for the Daily Mail, has claimed that 23-year-old Wilshere is set to miss at least a month of action as he consults a number of specialists and undergoes further tests and scans.

The disappointment is yet another in a long list of setbacks for Wilshere, who has had an injury-ravaged career thus far, meaning he has been unable to really make a claim for a first-team place in the side.
If surgery is required for Wilshere, he will likely miss at least three months of action, which would be a major blow to his ambitions of making England’s Euro 2016 squad next summer.
