Newcastle United midfielder Moussa Sissoko has targeted the Premier League big guns in a cry for Champions League football, reports Uche Amako of the Daily Express.
Arsenal are among the clubs that the French international is said to have hinted a move away from St. James’ Park to, as well as Chelseaand both the Manchester sides.
The 26-year-old, joined Newcastle in 2013 and since then has been repeatedly linked with a move away from the Magpies due to his impressive performances, including a switch to the Emirates.
He had hoped for a summer transfer away from the north East but admits the club had rejected his wish.
It could have been a good time to leave.
There were clubs interested but Newcastle vetoed.
They were against my departure so I stayed.
What I miss is to play leading roles because I would like to play in the Champions League.

Sissoko continued to explain that he believes he should be in the same position as his French international teammates, at a ‘big side’.
I am in Newcastle but it is not a ‘big four’ club.
Look at those who play for France in my position, compared to me, they all play for big clubs.
I have ambitions but first I must think about having a good Euro 2016 which I hope to win with France.
After that, I will have time to reflect on my future.

This could be another player on Wenger’s radar for the next transfer window after being surprisingly inactive during the recent summer months. Sissoko will be looking to impress at next years European Championship tournament, boosting the interest of a desired Premier League club like Arsenal.
With the likes of Mathieu Flamini and Mikel Arteta failing to impress at the Emirates these days, the dream move to north London for the midfielder could prove to be possible.
