Argentinian winger Ezequiel Lavezzi has put Arsene Wenger and Arsenal on alert mode as he announces he expects to leave Paris Saint-Germain next summer.
Lavezzi has spoken to Telefoot, the French broadcaster, about his current situation at the club.
The truth is I want to stay because I have a lot of faith in the team.
This year we brought in players that really reinforced the team.
I’m very happy for new signing Angel Di Maria, it’s always good to play with your friends.
He is a great player, I hope he adapts quickly.
I think it’s my last year in Paris, But I’m okay and I want to finish it the best way possible. You never know what can happen, today I want to stay, tomorrow we’ll see.

The 30-year-old was linked with the Gunners throughout the summer during their desperate search for a forward, but Arsene Wenger made no move for one before the clock struck 6:00 pm on transfer Deadline Day.
This could be the answer most Arsenal fans have been impatiently waiting for, it’s possible Wenger was aware of Lavezzi’s situation in France, and is waiting to get the experienced player on a free transfer, instead of forking out millions of pounds unnecessarily.
The forward is used to tasting success after winning three consecutive Ligue 1 titles during his time in Paris after signing from Napoli in 2012, which is exactly the sort of player Arsenal need – a winner.
