Juventus new boy Simone Zaza has emerged as a surprise transfer target for Arsenal in the January transfer window. The Italian only joined the Italian champions this summer, after impressing with Sassuol0, where he scored 21 goals in 69 appearances.
Following the Gunners’ disappointing transfer window and their genuine lack of options up front it comes as no surprise that they are already being linked with forwards. Football Italia report that Zaza is on Arsenal’s radar, but after the departure of Spaniard Fernando Llorente, Juventus have raised his value to around £30 million.

The Italian earned himself a big move to Juventus this summer, but the transfer was somewhat overshadowed by the arrival of Paulo Dybala from Palermo and as such he has already slipped down the pecking order at the club behind the Argentine, Mario Mandzukic and Alvaro Morata and therefore, may cause the club to consider a bid from Arsene Wenger’s side.
At present, the Gunners are relying on Olivier Giroud and Theo Walcott to deliver goals but thus far the north London side have only managed three goals from four games, two of which were own goals scored by their opposition. As a result, a move for Zaza makes sense because it adds depth to their attack.
