Former Chelsea and Manchester City midfielder Frank Lampard has revealed which are the best goalkeepers that he has ever played against. The former England international played 648 games for Chelsea during his career but now plays his football in the MLS for New York City FC.
Reported by The Mirror, Lampard revealed that England international Joe Hart and former Chelsea teammate Petr Cech are the two best goalkeepers he has ever had to face.

Lampard played with Hart for England and briefly for Manchester City – only having positive things to say about the England international.
Petr Cech and Joe Hart are the best goalkeepers to play against.
I’ve played against Harty, and stuck a few past him over the years, but I’ve been fortunate enough to train with him for a year at Manchester City and realised how good a goalkeeper he is.
The former Blues man also played with Czech Republic international Petr Cech for the majority of his Chelsea career and together they won the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, four Barclays Premier League titles and a collection of FA Cup winner’s medals. As such it is no surprise that Lampard had only positive things to say about Arsenal keeper Cech.
Petr Cech on the same note, he is a fantastic goalkeeper. Two brilliant pros and I’ve got complete respect for both of them.
There are lots of good goalies out there but I’ve been closely working with those two and they’re brilliant.
Petr Cech was Arsenal’s only purchase in the summer’s transfer window and so Gunners fans everywhere will be hoping that he will be on top of his game all season so that the club can push for their first League title in over 10 years.
